Cooking Classes For Kids – Class Description
These cooking classes for kids are great for children who like to cook or are curious about learning how-to, a fun after school activity, and a crafty way to get your picky eater interested in new (and healthy) foods. The recipes in these cooking classes for kids, tweens, and teens are very flexible and ingredients can be adjusted to fit all dietary needs and restrictions. As not only a chef but mom as well, I am always looking for new and creative ways to make food look exciting! I found that the themed menus are a lot of fun and pair really well with activities, movies, or games that fit the theme as well.

Thursday April 29th – “Baseball Themed”: Sport Dogs (Hotdog bar with toppings like chili, peppers, onions, etc.), Lemonade, Crescent Roll Pretzels with Cheese Dip, and Cracker Jack (Caramel Popcorn) Cupcakes.
Thursday May 6th – “Retro Themed”: BBQ Frisco Burger Melts and Sweet Potato Fries, Rootbeer, and Triple Cherry Cheesecake.
Thursday May 13th – “Farm Themed”: Barnyard Breakfast Casserole, Orange Juice, and Cinnamon Apple Bread Pudding.
Thursday May 20th – “Pizza Party Themed”: Pizza Bagels with Creamy Spinach & Artichoke Stuffed Crescents, Fruit Juice, and a Cookie Dough Cannoli Cheesecake.
Thursday May 27th – “Classroom Themed”: Club Sandwich Sliders with Banana & Oats Yogurt Parfaits, Milk, and a Peanut Butter & Jelly Cheesecake.
Thursday June 3rd – “Tropical Themed”: Coconut & Panko Crusted Chicken Tenderloins (Baked), Creamy Coconut & Lime Rice, with a Dessert Fruit Salsa and Cinnamon Chips.
Thursday June 10th – “Nautical Themed”: Oceanic Shaped Pasta (Dyed Blue) with Hotdog “Octopus”, Fish & Seaweed (Bell Pepper & Carrot Sticks with Goldfish Crackers), Blue Juice, and Beachy Pudding Cups topped with Gummy Sharks/Fish.
Thursday June 17th – “Circus Themed”: Elephant & Tiger Pancakes with Breakfast Sausage and Eggs, Fresh Fruit & Trail Mix, and an Animal Cracker Dip Dessert.
Thursday June 24th – “Picnic Themed”: Chef Dallas’s famous Ham Salad Sandwiches, Macaroni Salad, Chips, and Strawberry Fruit Fluff Dessert.
Thursday July 1st – “Patriotic Themed”: Chicken-Bacon-Ranch Burgers, Corn On The Cob, Loaded Potato Salad, and Red, White, & Blue Jello Dessert.
Thursday July 8th – “Camping Themed”: Campfire Casserole (Layered Cornbread, Sweet Corn, Little Smokies, and Baked Beans with Shredded Cheddar Cheese), Homemade Macaroni & Cheese, and S’mores Dessert.
Thursday July 15th – “Rainbow Party Theme”: Rainbow Sheet Pan Vegetables & Shrimp, Garlic Butter & Lemon Angel Hair Pasta, and a (Cold) Fruit Pizza Dessert.
Thursday July 22nd – “Tex Mex Themed”: Beef Tacos with Cowboy Caviar Dip & Chips, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch Dessert Cups.
